Wonderful Years at EISENHOWER SCHOOL

Hello, Eisenhower and Warren School alumni.  Sadly, I lost the original content from this page.  Please bear with me as I try to regroup and  rebuild this page.  I think I had some former teachers listed and many comments from students from the Eisenhower days.  If you remember what you wrote, please send it to me again.  I can also rebuild with new comments about YOUR days at Eisenhower.  Please include other staff and other years to round out the information about Eisenhower School.  I don't know of any other site with memories of Eisenhower School in Santa Clara, Cupertino School District.  Right now the best way to reach me is at this e-miail address:  tallpinetree@att.net.   I lost that address for about three weeks earlier in 2025.  It is back and usable.  The Netzero e-mail you may have in your contacts was taken from me several months ago.  Netzero has refused to put me back on.  If they pull this website, I'll be foreced to keep the legacy of Eisenhower and Warren elsewhere.  As long as I'm able, I'll be your contact to the wonderful years in your elementary school.   Mr. Pine

Eisenhower People

Eisenhower School has been around for years.  We had many principals and teachers.  I can name names if you share the ones you remember. I'm willing to start with the principals I remember.  Dutch Thomas, Larry Curb, Sam Lawson, Jerry Prizant, Chuck Corr, Jack Casey, Neil Monello, Robert Downer, Sybil Jorgenson, Liz Adams, Nicole Johnston, etc.

Niels Marienlund (1992) about Edith Anderson.  "She was the kindest person I can remember.  She always gave us lots of fun activities in class, from letting us play on the old Apple II computer, to making apple/peanut butter mouths with marshmallow teeth.  She was always smiling, and I don't think I remember a single day when she wasnlt wearing her light blue cardigan sweater.  It all started for me on my first day of kindergarten when Mrs. Anderson made me and all the other nervous students feel safe and welcome."

Memories from Eisenhower

Daniel Mullany (99-00) remembers some fast math practice that came out of an historical item called a record player.  Also, there was a science experiment with two quarts of water. "You then used a card on the red bottle. . . ..placed it on top of the blue bottle, then pulled the card out."  That left two quarts of colored water mouth to mouth.  Daniel remembers what happened next. . . . and why.

Mike Zhong, who attended UC Berkeley, says, "I was in your 4th-5th grade combo class at Eisenhower in the 2005-2006 school year."  He remembers "the science experiments you conducted in class, the hike we took to the creek at the end of the year. . . "  He also mentioned a candle that showed three states of matter.
